A day at Rainbow Lake, armed with an iPhone 4 and Instagram filters.

Back in 2013 before I owned a DSLR camera, my only means for photography was my trusty old iPhone 4 – don’t judge me. I hadn’t gotten into photography at this point, but I always seemed to have a keen eye for getting a great shot.

Here are a few snaps I took while I was hiking to Rainbow Lake in Whistler. My laptop fried overseas so I had no means of using Photoshop to tweak up the images. However I jumped on the Instagram bus and went crazy with some filters and the results actually turned out pretty cool – see if you can spot the Marmot in 2 of the photos.

By the way, the photo of the bird was a complete fluke!
